This role includes the following duties:
• To lead and be part of a small team of developers. Provide development guidance to team members, assist in the hiring of new developers, co-ordinate team’s development activities, supervise team members, ensure team developments are delivered to agreed schedule, managing team members training requirements.
• Work with other developers, business analysts, business users and other IT teams to complete tasks effectively
Requirements:

Technical Skills

The candidate must have the following technical experience:
• Strong server-side core Java including OO design and development
• Up-to-date knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate, or similar frameworks
• Experience in processing data and executing business logic in real-time systems
• Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server
• Automated testing and build processes
The candidates must also have:
• Experience in managing a team of at least 3 developers
• The ability to communicate effectively with peers across technology, and our partners in the business community
• The ability to work well in a global team environment
• The aptitude to learn applications and business areas quickly
It is preferable that the candidates have some of the following experience:
• Development of web applications and web services
• Experience following an Agile development approach
• Experience of XML-related technologies, such as schemas and transformations
• Messaging technologies, such as IBM Websphere MQ
