Work with internal clients to turn business requirements into new software solutions. Translate requirements into technical specifications that can be used for software development.
Design, develop, test and support new Risk Services software. Participate fully in the complete software development lifecycle.
Participate in development support of existing business-critical Risk Services systems. These include risk generation engines, risk store technologies and batch management software for grid distribution.
Main technologies used will be C++and C#/.Net with grid computing technologies such as DataSynapse and middleware technologies such as Solace and Oracle Coherence.
Requirements:
- Good C++ experience
- Development of server side software in C++
- Multi-threaded software development in C++
- Full software lifecycle.
- Object oriented design.
- Very good C++ development and OO design.
- Practical understanding of development best practices.
- Natural aptitude for analysis and design.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Methodical with an aptitude for effective testing of systems.
