Main Duties

1. Rapidly learn applications used by Sales assistants and related middle office users
2. Consults with users to understand requirements
3. Participate and develop low level design of solution
4. Coding and unit testing of the solution
5. Work with testers to verify the solution
6. Rework defects and take part in defect analysis
7. Production and User support
8. Enforces change management policies.

Person Requirements
1. Candidate needs to be a self-confident team player who works very well with the others. Being flexible is the key for this position – hours, responsibilities, will vary based on situational demands.
2. Strong interpersonal communication style.
3. Takes ownership to get things done.
Essential
1. A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
2. 4 years of IT work experience.
3. Technology experience:
- experience in both Java/J2EE and Sybase / SQL Server. ( 5+ years)
- worked in financial industry for a few years (3+ years)
- good communication skills
